Entry
Requirements
No formal entry requirements have been prescribed for
the pursuers. However, candidates should be working in the sector of quality
assurance. They should be occupationally competent in the role they wish to assess
and will require access to two learners in an appropriate assessment
environment. Fluency in English language and competent mathematical skills are
essential for getting into these courses.
Methodology
These courses are designed as a home-based distance
learning programs. These courses can be pursued online. There are personal
tutors who provide professionally-written study materials on registration.
Their support is available at all times, either through emails or telephone
calls.
The online method of delivering this course proves
beneficial for pursuers because they can meet personal and professional
commitments while they acquire knowledge on assessment. They are not required
to attend classroom lectures which prove highly time-consuming for them.
Assessment
The performance of the candidates is based on the
assignments and practical units. The candidates have to prepare the assignment
for demonstrating their understanding of the various assessment principles. The
practical units require candidates to undertake four observed practical
assessments.
